Purdy Concrete
operates 16 ready-mix trucks and two permanent ready-mix plants in
different locations, one in Lafayette
and one in West Lafayette.
Both plants are INDOT certified. Each batching operation is directed by a
computerized batching program with aggregate moisture probes. This state of
the art system provides precision batching so consistent slumps can be
achieved on each load.

A Telebelt with an
80-foot horizontal reach is available to assist with placement of concrete
and aggregate in large quantities or in hard-to-reach locations.
Purdy Concrete has
two full-time crews that specialize in pouring concrete foundations and
basement walls for both residential and commercial buildings.
Purdy Concrete has a
license from Redi-Rock to pour and sell Redi-Rocks, an
innovative retaining wall system. Redi-Rocks have an attractive, natural
rock appearance and a unique interlocking system. Uses include residential
and commercial retaining walls, low landscape walls, shoreline protection,
golf course tee-boxes and elevated greens. Redi-Rocks can form curves,
lines, and circular patterns to fit most needs. These wall systems feature
designer rock faces, unlimited custom colors and the ability to achieve
13.5 feet of height without using expensive geo-grids or tie back systems.
Purdy Concrete also
pre-casts a variety of concrete blocks, traffic diversion barriers and
parking stops.
